Ambericent N. Cornett, MS, MPH, MBA-HCM, is the distinguished Founder and CEO of The Chameleon Consulting Firm (ChameleCo), a company gaining a formidable reputation for strategic innovation in operations, research, and business development within the acumen of government and intelligence services. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a robust background in cybersecurity and information technology with her leadership extending beyond traditional business fortitude into high-stakes arenas where risk mitigation, strategic planning, and operational excellence are paramount.

Her versatile career spans impressive roles, including her past positions as a Data Scientist and Subject Matter Expert at the Pentagon and as a Chief Operations Officer at a cybersecurity firm. Ambericent’s acute focus on performance management and operational excellence is evident in her strategic leadership, which has consistently resulted in business growth, risk mitigation, and amplified customer engagement and satisfaction.

Before founding ChameleCo, Ambericent contributed her expertise to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as an Epidemiologist, where she managed biomedical data and played a key role in supporting international space partners and United States Astronaut health for space missions. She also worked Mission Control and its Launches as a Project Manager for engineering projects such as Shuttle, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST), Low Impact Docking and Androgenous Systems (LIDS, LIDS-HST), the Androgynous Peripheral Attach System (APAS), and The Capsule Parachute Assembly System (CPAS) to name a few. She spent collectively 10 years at NASA working mechanical and systems engineering project management for vehicular and exploration missions and the physiological, biological, and immunological programs for astronauts.

At the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), she served as a Quarantine Public Health Officer, involved in research, and managing public health responses at borders and points of entry. Her most notable programs were working for The National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID) during the Ebola and Zika epidemics.

In the private sector, Ambericent has made her mark at J.P. Morgan and Chase & Co., managing fraud risk strategies, and performing complex data analyses to safeguard financial and consumer interests. Working Operations for both commercial and consumer, she was able to ensure the safety and security of both the financial institution and the public. Using advanced machine learning models and other sophisticated analytics and risk mitigation methods, she worked with partners throughout the firm to protect financial interests.

As a champion for STEM, Ambericent actively participates as the newly elected President-Elect in the Association for Women in Science - National Capital Region Chapter. She is currently serving as a second-term Governing Councilor for the Epidemiology Section of the American Public Health Association engaging in the development, implementation and evaluation of policies affecting the public's health.

Her educational background is as impressive as her career, with degrees in Biological Sciences from the University of Houston - Clear Lake, a Master of Public Health and Health Policy from A.T. Still University, and an MBA with Healthcare Management from Our Lady of the Lake University. To note, she has held professorships in each of her educational programs in Texas at the college and university level.

Throughout her over two decades in the United States Army, Ambericent has demonstrated unparalleled skill in integrating disciplines such as epidemiology, biology, physiology, and cybersecurity to enhance mission outcomes. Now engaging in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Quantum Technologies, she is projecting a different aptitude in order to not only improve her STEM platform but continue to enhance known skills in intelligence and information operations to promote a more proactive approach to consultancy.

Her military experience, combined with her academic and professional achievements, positions her as a preeminent leader in STEM and cybersecurity, driving ChameleCo to new frontiers of innovation and success.
